TRYOUT INFORMATION/SCHEDULE

Tryout schedules are posted at the bottom of this page, but please read the following important information concerning tryouts:

​

Registration is required for tryouts. The cost is $25 payable only once and covers any/all sessions. There are two registration options as shown below:

  • Paper registration at the door. Be sure to arrive 20 minutes prior to tryout start time with a PARENT!!  $25 registration fee payable by cash or check only! No cards accepted.

  • Online registration is now closed.

Only one tryout is required, but athletes are encouraged to attend both tryout sessions. The more familiar we are with each athlete's abilities, the better the chance they are placed on a team most suitable for them.  This also helps to offset a "bad day" for athletes during tryouts. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to check in/register and warmup. Parents may NOT stay once the tryout session begins.

Other Important Information:

  • Information meetings will be held prior to tryouts for those interested in our club.  Click here for details.

  • If you receive an offer for team placement from our club you will have 72 hours to accept or deny.  Acceptance should not be taken lightly. The acceptance process will bind you to our club for the 22-23 travel season.  Release from this contract requires written consent from both CPVC and the USAV Carolina Region.  This is not unique to us, but the rule for every USAV/CR club. It is CPVC's policy not to release a player during the season to play for another club.

  • Mandatory signing day is October 23, time TBA.  This will be a day to complete paperwork, review policies, obtain/order jerseys and take initial team photos.

  • PRACTICES WILL NOT BEGIN UNTIL THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 30 in order to allow female athletes to focus on their school volleyball seasons.

  • Practices will be 3 times per week for most, if not all teams.  Primarily they will be Saturday, Sunday and one weekday evening that works with the coach's schedule. .

11u - 14u GIRLS:  PRACTICES WILL NOT BEGIN UNTIL THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 30.

 

  • 11u, 12u, 13u, 14u Girls:  (born July 1, 2008 - June 30, 2012)

    • Saturday RESCHEDULED to Monday evening, see below:

    • Sunday, October 2:  4:00pm, check in begins at 3:40pm

    • Monday, October 3:  6:00pm, check in begins at 5:40pm

Boys and High School Girls rosters are full for the 2022-2023 season.  No further tryouts will be held.
