Tryouts will be held August 2-3. ​

GIRLS Birth dates: July 2007* through June 2010 (16u-18u)
*Athletes born between July 2006 through June 2007 AND still in high school are also eligible to tryout.
- Saturday, August 2: 9:00am - 10:30am
- Sunday, August 3: 4:00pm - 5:30pm

- Saturday, August 2: 10:30am - 12:00pm
- Sunday, August 3: 2:30pm - 4:00pm

BOYS Birth dates: July 2007* through June 2015 (11u-18u)

- Saturday, August 2: 12:00pm - 1:30pm
- Sunday, August 3: 5:30pm - 7:00pm
CPVC is committed to maintaining a consistent and unbiased tryout experience for EVERY player. Therefore we are proud to have taken the Fair Tryout Pledge. This means EVERY player is required to tryout and NO pre-offers prior to posted tryout dates. To find out more about this pledge please click here.
ALL athletes are required to tryout, including CPVC players from the previous season!

A parent's signature is required!! You may download the paper form here to fill it out in advance. Alternatively, you AND A PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN may fill out a form at the club.
Subsequent tryout dates will be offered in September/October ONLY if needed. HOWEVER, players should tryout as early as possible in order to receive a placement offer best suited for their age/position/skill level. Tryouts later in summer and early fall are intended to fill "holes" in our rosters. An athlete's best opportunity to be placed on a team most appropriate for their age and skill level is to tryout in the first round of tryouts.

If you receive an offer for team placement from our club you will have 72 hours to accept or deny. Acceptance should not be taken lightly. It is a legal and financial contract for the entire duration of the season.

Release from the athlete's participation contract requires written consent from both CPVC directors and the USAV Carolina Region. This is not unique to us, but the rule for every USAV/CR club. It is CPVC's policy not to release a player during the season to play for another club.

Official acceptance and subsequent signing of contract obligates parents to pay 100% of the season dues unless the player is released by a CPVC Director for reasons such as season ending injuries or other extenuating circumstances.

Mandatory signing day will be held in October, exact date TBA. This will be a day to complete paperwork, review policies, obtain/order jerseys and take initial team photos.

PRACTICES WILL BEGIN APPROXIMATELY NOVEMBER 1 in order to allow female athletes to focus on their school volleyball seasons.

Practices will be 3 times per week for most, if not all teams. Typically, they will be Saturday and/or Sunday and at least one weekday evening that works with the coach's schedule. Occasionally this is altered based on a unanimous team decision and court availability.
