TRYOUT INFORMATION
​​We need just one more player to complete our volleyball family this season. Here are the details:

Girls 18 Slate (Semi National Team)

1 Setter or 1 Hitter

Birthdate must be between July 2006 -> June 2010

Intermediate to advanced level player, no beginners

CPVC is committed to maintaining a consistent and unbiased tryout experience for EVERY player. Therefore we are proud to have taken the Fair Tryout Pledge. This means EVERY player is required to tryout and NO pre-offers prior to posted tryout dates. To find out more about this pledge please click here.

ALL athletes are required to tryout, including CPVC players from the previous season!
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO TRYOUT! Tryout registration fee is non-refundable!:

PAPER REGISTRATION: $40 (Payable by cash or card)
A parent's signature is required!! You may download the paper form here to fill it out in advance. Alternatively, you AND A PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN may fill out a form at the club.

If you receive an offer for team placement from our club you will have 72 hours to accept or deny. Acceptance should not be taken lightly. It is a legal and financial contract for the entire duration of the season.

Release from the athlete's participation contract requires written consent from both CPVC directors and the USAV Carolina Region. This is not unique to us, but the rule for every USAV/CR club. It is CPVC's policy not to release a player during the season to play for another club.

Official acceptance and subsequent signing of contract obligates parents to pay 100% of the season dues unless the player is released by a CPVC Director for reasons such as season ending injuries or other extenuating circumstances.

Mandatory signing day will be held in October, exact date TBA. This will be a day to complete paperwork, review policies, obtain/order jerseys and take initial team photos.

PRACTICES WILL BEGIN NOVEMBER 3 in order to allow female athletes to focus on their school volleyball seasons.

Practices will be 3 times per week for most, if not all teams. Typically, they will be Saturday and/or Sunday and at least one weekday evening that works with the coach's schedule. Occasionally this is altered based on a unanimous team decision and court availability.
